The first photos of the 2018 Buick Regal GS have been released. What we have here is the Chinese version of the upcoming Regal GS, but it is expected to be nearly identical to the version that we’ll get here in the United States.
Although we don’t have all the photos yet or specs, we can see that from the front the 2018 Regal GS will have a more aggressive fascia with a sportier bumper and larger air intakes. The side of the Regal GS gets larger side skirts and we can also see black alloy wheels that are covering red Brembo brake calipers. Although we don’t have a view of the rear it will likely get a more aggressive exhaust treatment and an updated rear bumper.
Under the hood we can expect a 3.6L V6 with around 310 horsepower, thanks to leaked info from Buick’s B owner’s magazine. The V6 will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
We can expect a full reveal soon of the Chinese-spec Regal GS soon, while the US-spec version will likely not debut until later this year, maybe at the LA Auto Show.
