BMW has announced the pricing for the third-generation 2018 BMW X3, which will start at $43,445 with the destination fees for the X3 30i, if you step up to the X3 M40i, it starts at $55,295.
The base 2018 BMW X3 30i is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder that generates 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. It can reach 60 mph in 6.0 seconds on its way to a top speed of 130 mph. The sportier X3 M40i gets a turbocharged 3.0L six-cylinder engine with 355 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque. The X3 M40i can reach 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.
The 2018 X3 is available in six colors: Alpine White, Carbon Black Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Glacier Silver Metallic, Dark Graphite Metallic, and Phytonic Blue Metallic. There are also several 18-, 19-, 20- and 21-inch wheels to choose from.
If you choose the X3 30i you can choose from three design themes: xLine, Luxury, and M Sport.
Select options like the Driver Assistance Package, the Driver Assistance Package Plus or Parking Assistance Package and the price moves higher. There’s also a Premium Package and Executive Package. Check every box and the price for the X3 M40i gets pretty close to $70k.
