2016 Honda CR-Z gets more features, but not more horsepower

Although it’s failed to become the stand out model, that many hoped, the Honda CR-Z is still around. For 2016 Honda is giving the small hybrid a host of upgrades, like new styling and more features, but if you were hoping for a performance upgrade, you’ll be disappointed.

On the outside the 2016 CR-Z has a restyled front fascia with an updated grille and diffuser. The 2016 CR-Z also rides on new wheels and its rear also gets a few small styling tweaks. Inside there are upgraded materials and a new center console that rises up up between the seats. Leather seats are also optional now and the 2016 CR-Z has a new standard electronic parking brake.

The 2016 CR-Z is now available with a host of new tech features like, Honda LaneWatch and a 7-inch touchscreen.

Unfortunately there aren’t any updates under the hood, since the 2016 CR-Z is still powered by the same 1.5L four-cylinder and an electric motor. It has a combined output of 130 horsepower and 140 lb-ft. of torque. The CR-Z is rated at 36/39 mpg with the CVT and 31/38 mpg with the six-speed manual transmission.
