BMW is going to reveal the all-new 2016 7-Series this week on June 10, but a photo of the new 7-Series has already been released thanks to an accidental push on the automaker’s website. Someone in Austria hit send too early, since the photo you see here was shown on BMW’s online configurator, which also revealed some of the specs for the 2016 7-Series.
The all-new 7-Series gets an evolutionary redesign that isn’t a big departure from the current model. Its lines are influenced by the Future Luxury Concept, but overall the redesign is pretty conservative.

Under the hood, there will be some bigger changes with the arrival of BMW’s new B58 six-cylinder engine in the 740i. The 3.0L engine is also available in the 2016 340i, where it generates 320 horsepower. A more powerful 750i will be available with a 4.4L V8 and a even more powerful V-12 powered 760Li will also be available. Diesel fans will get a diesel option and electric car fans will also be able to get a plug-in hybrid version.

Stay tuned for all the details on Wednesday, June 10.
