2016 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid gets new safety and driver assistive technologies

Acura has revealed the updates to the 2016 RLX Sport Hybrid, which goes on sale this month. The biggest update to the 2016 model is the availability of a long list of new safety and driver assistive technologies.
The RLX Sport Hybrid now comes standard with the AcuraWatch suite of safety technologies, like Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation and Blind Spot Information. It also gets a new Surround View camera.

The RLX Sport Hybrid is powered by a 3.5L V6 and a three-motor hybrid system that generates a total 377 horsepower and 341 lb-ft. of torque. It comes standard with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system and the best part is that it gets up to 32 mpg on the highway.

Pricing for the 2015 RLX Sport Hybrid is unchanged from the 2015 model, with pricing starting at $60,870, with the destination fee included.
