Volvo has announced the engine lineup for the 2014 Volvo V60 Sportswagon, which will arrive in the U.S. in January. V60 buyers will be able to choose between a four, five or six-cylinder engine.
The V60 will be available with the first engine from Volvo’s new Drive-E engine lineup, a 240-hp turbocharged four-cylinder. “This is an exciting time of transformation for Volvo and shows our Swedish heart is beating strongly,” said Volvo Cars of North America President and CEO John Maloney. “The V60 signifies our first step in a gradual move toward powerful, highly efficient, four-cylinder engines across the entire portfolio of our vehicles.”
Buyers can also choose between a 250-hp 2.5L five-cylinder and a 325-hp 3.0L six-cylinder, both of which send their power to the ground via all four wheels.
The 2014 V6 will arrive in the U.S. in January.
