The much anticipated 2013 Ford Focus ST is finally here. Focus ST fans already probably know that it’s powered by a turbocharged 2.0L EcoBoost engine with 252 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft., but Ford has just announced that it has been rated at 32 mpg highway, 23 mpg city and 26 mpg combined.
The 32 MPG highway rating is better than manual transmission equipped VW GTI and MazdaSpeed3.”We’re putting the ‘power’ in the power of choice, again,” said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president, Global Product Development. “This is just one more example of the ‘win-win’ in the Focus ST narrative. This kind of performance combined with these high levels of efficiency sets a new benchmark with this car.”
The 2013 Ford Focus ST starts at $24,495.
