GM has yet to officially confirm the 2012 Buick Regal GS, but judging by all the buzz surrounding the model, it’s a for sure thing.

Bob Lutz, GM’s Vice Chairman, recently spoke to Inside Line about the Regal GS and stated that there have been numerous discussions debating whether the car should have all-wheel-drive. Lutz didn’t provide any details about what will power the GS, but he did say that they were less than overwhelmed with the performance of Opel’s turbo V6. Which means that when the Buick Regal GS does arrive, it may be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder instead.
