2011 Hyundai Elantra Officially Unveiled

At this point “officially unveiled” doesn’t really seem all that exciting for the 2011 Hyundai Elantra. It’s not that Hyundai’s newest sedan doesn’t look much better than the previous-gen Elantra, it’s just that we’ve already seen so many photos of it. But anyways…

The 2011 Elantra is here. It features similar styling as the larger Sonata, which is good thing, since the Sonata has been such a success. It will be powered by an all-new 1.8L four-cylinder with 148-hp and 131 lb-ft. of torque. It’s mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and gets 28 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.
