VW has unveiled the all-new Golf GTI..well kinda. VW posted these photos of the new Golf GTI on its German media site.
The 2010 GTI is powered by a 2.0L TFSI four cylinder that puts out 210 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. On the outside the new GTI gets many of the same changes as the new Golf. The GTI will reach 0-62 mph in 7.2 seconds and gets a combined 31 mpg on the European cycle.
The all-new 2010 GTI will arrive in Europe in the spring of 2009 and in the US by the summer. The new Golf aka Rabbit will be in US showrooms by next fall.
