GM has released a pic of GM Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner, Vice-Chairman Bob Lutz and Fritz Henderson standing in front of a production clay model of the 2009 Chevrolet Camaro. As you can tell the clay model that is being chiseled in the picture is very close to the concept version of the new Camaro. It is almost identical.
In addition to the clay Camaro, there is also another interesting element to this picture. In the background of the picture there is an artist rendering of an upcoming Chevy. From the pictures it looks like an upcoming coupe of some sort. Other than that the jury is still out on what it may actually be. A Malibu Coupe? Something to replace the now defunct Monte Carlo? What do you think it is?
