Lamborghini has unveiled the over the top Veneno Roadster, which is the open top version of the Veneno coupe that debuted earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show.
Lamborghini has unveiled the over the top Veneno Roadster, which is the open top version of the Veneno coupe that debuted earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show. Lamborghini has produced three Veneno coupes and now nine roadster versions will be produced in the next year.
The Veneno Roadster looks almost identical to the coupe and its body is built out of carbon fiber and aluminum to keep its weight in check. Usually a convertible comes with either a retractable top of some sort or a detachable roof panel, but the Veneno Roadster comes with neither. Yup, that’s right! If it starts raining there won’t be anything to keep your head dry.
The Veneno Roadster is powered by the same 6.5L 12-cylinder as the coupe, which means that it packs 750 horsepower and will reach 0-62 mph in under three seconds.
