The 488 Spider ditches the 458 Spider’s large 4.5L V8 for a new twin-turbocharged 3.9L V8 that generates 660 horsepower and 560 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends all that power to the rear wheels. Ferrari says that the 488 Spider can reach 62 mph in three seconds and that it has a top speed of 203 mph.

Compared to the outgoing 458, the 488 looks a bit different thanks to new headlights, a redesigned air dam and twin vents that are integrated into the hood. New air ducts behind the doors also help direct more air into the engine bay.

Not that you would ever want to put the top up, but if you have to, the 488 Spider’s power-retractable hardtop only takes 14 seconds to operate.
