Hyundai has announced the introduction of its ix35 Fuel Cell vehicle, which will be available for public and private lease by the end of this year. In December 2012, Hyundai will begin production of the ix35 Fuel Cell at its Ulsan manufacturing facility in Korea, with a target of building up to 1,000 vehicles by 2015. Beyond 2015, Hyundai plans limited mass production of the ix35 Fuel Cell, with a goal of 10,000 units.

The all-new Jaguar F-Type has just been unveiled at an event in Musée Rodin, Paris. The Jaguar F-Type two-seater convertible is a big deal for Jaguar, since it is a continuation of a sporting bloodline that stretches back more than 75 years. The F-Type was originally preview by the Jaguar C-X16 concept that debuted last fall. The biggest difference between the concept car and what you see here is that the roof has been chopped off the F-Type. It still hasn't been decided if Jaguar will build a coupe version.
Infiniti has announced the pricing for the 2013 Infiniti FX crossover, which starts at $44,300. For 2013, the biggest change to the FX is under the hood, with a new 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 replacing the 3.5-liter V6. Now named the FX37, it is available in three models: FX37 RWD, FX37 AWD and FX Limited Edition. If you want more power, the FX50 AWD with standard 390-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 and All-Wheel Drive is also offered.

Hyundai and ARK Performance have teamed up to create the ultimate Genesis Coupe, the Genesis Coupe R-Spec Track Edition. This special Genesis Coupe's 3.8L engine has been upgraded and now puts out 395 horsepower at 6800 rpm, and 340 lb.-ft. at 5400 rpm. From the exterior, the ARK design theme takes the muscular character lines of the Genesis Coupe to the extreme, with race-like flared over-fenders, an aggressive front splitter, and carbon-fiber hood with heat-extractor vents.
We're only a few days away from the official debut of the Jaguar's newest sports car, the Jaguar F-Type. Ford's new third-generation hybrid system is debuting this fall in models like the Ford Fusion and C-Max hybrids. Unlike earlier hybrid systems that relied on nickel-metal-hydride batteries, the new system uses lithium-ion batteries that are lighter and more efficient. According to Ford, the new batteries could also reduce the company's use of expensive, less-abundant rare earth metals by up to 500,000 pounds a year.

The 2013 Acura TL has received the top-level rating of GOOD in the new Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) small overlap frontal barrier crash test. The new IIHS small overlap frontal barrier crash test is designed to simulate a collision between a vehicle traveling 40 miles per hour and a fixed object, such as a utility pole, where only 25 percent of the vehicle's front structure is engaged by the opposing object. Acura can be happy since the TL was one of only two vehicles to achieve the highest rating of "Good" among a group of 11 models that were the first to be tested under the new crash test protocol.

Chevy Racing is renewing its fight against breast cancer this weekend at at Atlanta Motor Speedway. For every lap run under the caution flag Chevy will give a $200 contribution to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative.
