It took over 2,000 hours to do, but McLaren managed to build a unique 720S that is entirely made of 280,000 Lego bricks. The life size McLaren 720S debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed just over a month ago and now McLaren has released a video of the process.
While the McLaren 720S was made out of almost 300k Lego bricks, the vehicle does have a simple frame and real tires. The Lego McLaren wasn’t fully completed by McLaren’s team, since the final 13,000 bricks were applied by people that attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Lego McLaren 720S raised over £2,700 for the official Goodwood charity.
