This week Volkswagen officially unveiled the ID.3, the first electric car from its new ID family of EVs. While the ID.3 electric hatchback is not coming to the US, its second electric vehicle based on the ID Crozz crossover concept is coming here and now we know what it will be called.

VW has confirmed that the production version of the ID Crozz concept will be called the ID.4. The ID.4 electric crossover will be based on the same MEB platform as the ID.3, but VW hasn’t released any specs. The ID.3 is available with three battery sizes, 45, 58 and 77 kWh, which gives it a driving range up to 341 miles on Europe’s WLTP cycle.
