Want to be the first person in the U.S. to get the keys to the 2015 VW e-Golf electric car? Here’s your chance: Volkswagen and Global Green USA have announced the auction of the first 2015 e-Golf. The auction, hosted online at Charitybuzz.com/vwegolf, gives bidders the opportunity to be the first owner of the e-Golf before sales kick off in the U.S. later this year.
Proceeds will benefit Global Green USA, a national environmental non-profit and leader in advancing smart solutions to climate change that help improve lives and protect the planet. “We applaud Volkswagen’s commitment to developing a vehicle that is both sustainable and affordable,” said Les McCabe, Ph.D, President and CEO of Global Green USA. “While climate change is undeniable, we now have zero-emission vehicle options that allow us to collectively mitigate its impact.”
