It’s being reported that General Motors is working on a new electric car with a driving range around 200 miles on a single range. The electric car is expected to be introduced by 2017, but the world will reportedly get a preview of it next week at the Detroit Auto Show. GM is going to show a concept version of the EV with the Chevy Bolt name alongside the all-new Volt.
GM registered the Chevy Bolt name back in August, which quickly lead to speculation of a new electrified model for the Chevy lineup. The Bolt will reportedly be bigger than the all-new 2016 Volt, which is also going to debut in Detroit. Pricing will reportedly be in the $35,000 range when it’s released.
