GM is going to show a concept version of the EV with the Chevy Bolt name alongside the all-new Volt.
GM registered the Chevy Bolt name back in August, which quickly lead to speculation of a new electrified model for the Chevy lineup. The Bolt will reportedly be bigger than the all-new 2016 Volt, which is also going to debut in Detroit. Pricing will reportedly be in the $35,000 range when it’s released.

The Bolt is GM’s answer to the upcoming Tesla Model 3, which is also expected to arrive sometime in 2017.
