Audi has just released the first video from the “Electric Life” series that takes a look at Audi’s new e-tron electric vehicle technology now hitting American roads with Audi’s “e-Pilots.” Audi wants to gather real world experience with its A3 e-tron prototypes and has given the “e-Pilots” an Audi A3 e-tron to live with for several months.
“In our first film we visit e-Pilot Ti Chan as she waves goodbye to the gas station when electricians install a home charger in her garage. Then she shows off her “new ride” to her mom.”
Audi recently gave us a chance to drive an A3 e-tron prototype through the streets of Manhattan. Basically if it wasn’t for the quiet electric motor under the hood, we wouldn’t have known we were driving an electric version of the A3. It drove pretty much just like the gasoline and diesel-powered A3 models, which is a good thing.
The best part of this video is when the Mom asks “So this electric car… it will shock me?”
