The concept is based on Audi’s second-generation modular longitudinal platform and its length is between that of the Audi Q5 and the Q7. It has a more coupe-like profile than the Q5 and Q7 models, but its profile still looks more like a traditional SUV compared to the coupe-like crossovers from BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Inside there is room for four passengers and cargo capacity shouldn’t suffer too much, since the large lithium-ion battery is positioned below the passenger compartment. What will power the new electric SUV? The concept and the upcoming Q6 e-tron borrow the electric powertrain from the R8 e-tron. Audi expects the SUV to have a driving range of more than 310 miles.
