The 2016 Nissan Leaf now has the longest driving range of any electric vehicle in its class, thanks to a new larger 30 kWh battery that gives it a driving range of 107 miles. It may not seem like a lot, but that’s a longer driving range than the Leaf’s rivals, like the VW e-Golf, BMW i3 and Fiat 500e.

The new larger battery is standard on Leaf SV and SL models, while the base Leaf S still keeps the smaller 24 kWh battery. Other upgrades to the 2016 Leaf includes the standard NissanConnect with Mobile Apps and a few more color options. The 2016 model offers three new colors: Forged Bronze, Coulis Red and Deep Blue Pearl.
