The Tesla Model 3 recently aced all of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s safety tests. NHTSA has revealed that the Tesla Model 3 received a top five-star rating in all of its safety tests.
Tesla Model 3 buyers now have a little less to worry about, since the Model 3 received the top rating in all of NHTSA’s tests. While we’re still waiting for the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) to release its own safety ratings for the Model 3, we do know that it’s crash avoidance system received the top “superior” rating and its headlights were also highly rated by the IIHS.
The IIHS tests are a bit tougher than the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, so we’ll have to wait and see if the IIHS gives the Model 3 its highest rating – Top Safety Pick+.
