Rolls-Royce has been teasing us with several photos of its first ever SUV, called the Cullinan and now we’re finally about to see it. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan will officially debut on May 10.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan

The Cullinan gets its name from the largest diamond ever found, which was discovered in South Africa. The Cullinan will be based on the brand’s new aluminum spaceframe platform that’s also used by the new Phantom. The SUV will also likely borrow its V-12 and eight-speed automatic from the Phantom.

While the Rolls-Royce Cullinan technically is an SUV, Rolls-Royce doesn’t want us to think it’s just a regular SUV. Instead it describes the Cullinan as an “all-terrain, high-sided vehicle.”
