Ram unveiled two new special edition models at the State Fair of Texas, the Laramie Longhorn Southfork and Heavy Duty Lone Star Silver, which are clearly geared towards the Texas market.

2018 Ram Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition launches at State Fair of Texas, available in Ram 1500, Ram 2500 and Ram 3500

The Laramie Longhorn Southfork, builds on the Laramie Longhorn trim by adding a more luxurious interior, and more tech features. Inside, Southfork adds Canyon Brown and Light Frost Beige leather seats, leather wrapped A- and B-pillar grab handles and a real Walnut-trimmed steering wheel. Overhead is a Light Greystone suede headliner with visors of the same material. Lastly the “Longhorn” badge has been applied to the glove box and floormats.

On the outside there’s a stretched “Longhorn” badge across the tailgate in bright chrome. The Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition is available on Ram 1500/2500/3500 4×2 and 4×4 Crew Cab, Mega Cab, long or short box. Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition starts at $52,615 with destination included. The Ram 2500 Heavy Duty models are priced at $57,015.

2018 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Southfork

The new Heavy Duty Lone Star Silver edition gets a new luxury grille with chrome surround and chrome Wave Mesh inserts, new bright belt moldings, chrome exterior side-view mirrors, chrome wheel-to-wheel side steps, polished 20-inch wheels and front tow hooks. A unique grille-mounted, aluminum Lone Star badge identifies the Silver edition as something special and also signifies that it carries with it the new “Ram Care” service program.

The Ram Heavy Duty Lone Star Silver edition is available on Ram 2500/3500 4×2 and 4×4 Crew Cab with a choice of a 5.7-liter V-8, 6.4-literV-8 or the 6.7-liter Cummins six-cylinder diesel. Pricing starts at $46,130.
