The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 pickup is scheduled to debut in a few days at the Detroit Auto Show, but the first photo of the new Ram 1500 has already leaked online. This grainy photo was taken from the production floor where it gives us a pretty clear look at most of the changes to the Ram 1500.
The pickup wars are definitely heating up with the arrival of the updated Ford F-150 and the all-new 2019 Chevy Silverado. Ram is ready to fight with the 2019 Ram 1500, which gets an evolutionary redesign and under the hood the existing powertrains are expected to carryover, which includes the 3.6L V6, a 5.7L HEMI V8, and the 3.0L turbodiesel V6. There’s also a rumor that the Ram 1500 could eventually get the turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder that powers the new Jeep Wrangler.
