With Audi finally jumping on the crossover coupe bandwagon, it’s only a matter of time until we see even more high riding coupe-like crossovers. Well Porsche has finally confirmed the rumors – a Porsche Cayenne coupe is coming.
In a recent interview with Autocar, Porsche boss Oliver Blume confirmed that the Cayenne coupe has been given the green light. The BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE rival will arrive by the end of 2019, with sales confirmed to start in Europe in the fourth quarter.
From the front the Cayenne coupe will look similar to the regular version, but as you move towards the back, the Cayenne coupe will retain the five doors, but will have a sleeker roofline and a liftback-style tailgate. The taillights will also be a bit sportier than the regular Cayenne with a look that’s closer to the Panamera.
