When Rogue One: A Star Wars Story launched, it was a natural fit for Nissan to create a unique Nissan Rogue crossover to promote the latest Star Wars movie. Now Nissan and Lucasfilm have teamed up again, but this time for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which will be released on December 15, 2017.
“This film will be blazing new ground in the Star Wars saga, and we feel our partners have designed some truly compelling experiences to match,” says Lynwen Brennan, General Manager of Lucasfilm.
Lucasfilm picked six brands to help promote the movie, including Christian Louboutin, General Mills, Royal Philips, Verizon, VIZIO and Nissan. Nissan hasn’t announced what it has planned as a promotional partner for the latest Star Wars movie, but it’s safe to assume that there will be another limited edition Star Wars-themed Nissan coming soon.
“Our promotional partners have come up with some very exciting, imaginative campaigns to support The Last Jedi, and we can’t wait to share them with fans,” says Lylle Breier, Sr. Vice President, Global Marketing Partnerships, Walt Disney Studios.
