Nissan has unveiled three unique Leaf electric cars, which are inspired by Disney’s latest movie, “A Wrinkle in Time.” The three customized Nissan Leafs use design elements inspired by the costumes worn by the film’s characters: Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey), Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling) and Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon).
Each of the one-off Nissan Leafs feature custom touch-sensitive screens covering the windshield and side windows to create an interactive light show that mimics the “wrinkle” effect from the new movie. The three vehicles also use heat-sensing cameras to track approaching users and react when they get close.
The three completely custom Nissan Leaf vehicles were created by Hollywood vehicle fabricators at Vehicle Effects in Burbank, Calif.
“A Wrinkle in Time” opens in theaters on March 9.
