Nissan has announced the pricing for the all-new 2019 Nissan Altima, which goes on sale next week, starting at $24,645. The completely revamped 2019 Nissan Altima arrives as the midsize sedan segment continues to decline, but Nissan hopes it can add some “excitement” to the segment.

2019 Nissan Altima

The 2019 Nissan Altima is lower, longer and wider than the last generation with an extra dose of style thrown in to help it stand out against its two biggest rivals, the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. The 2019 Altima comes standard with a 2.5L 4-cylinder with 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft. of torque. For buyers that want more power, the old 3.5L V6 is gone and now the top engine is the new 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder that generates 248 horsepower and 280 lb-ft. of torque.

For the first time ever, the Altima is now available with all-wheel drive. The 2.5L is the only engine available if you want all-wheel drive, which is a disappointment for those that want the sportier engine with AWD.
