The Maserati GranTurismo got a small update for the 2018 model year, but if you’re hoping for an all-new model, you’ll have to wait until 2020. The current-generation Maserati GranTurismo has been around since 2007, but a new report claims that we still have to wait until the car is well over a decade old for a new one.

It was originally reported that the new GranTurismo would arrive by 2018, but delays with the GranTurismo’s platform have pushed the launch back a few years. The new GranTurismo will ride on a new platform that will be the basis for several models, even possibly the the production version of the Alfieri.

Maserati has yet to release any details, but the new GranTurismo could be previewed by a concept version sometime next year.
