Toyota is bringing 2016 Camry and Corolla Special Editions and restyled 2016 Avalon to Chicago

Toyota has announced that it is going to reveal both a Special Edition Camry and Special Edition Corolla at the Chicago Auto Show, in addition to a restyled 2016 Avalon.

Toyota has announced that it is going to reveal both a Special Edition Camry and Special Edition Corolla at the Chicago Auto Show, in addition to a restyled 2016 Avalon.

The 2016 Camry Special Edition is based on the Camry SE, but gets unique 18-inch alloy wheels with black accents, a moonroof, smoked taillights, sport seats with blue accents, Entune Audio Plus and Qi wireless charging. It’s available in Blizzard Pearl or Blue Streak Metallic. The Camry Special Edition will only be available with the 2.5L four-cylinder and six-speed automatic transmission. Toyota expects to produce 12,000 units.

The 2016 Corolla Special Edition is based on the Corolla S Plus model, but gets unique 17-inch alloy wheels with gloss black finish, a black interior with red contrasts, the Smart Key system and special badges. It will be available in Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl and Super White. Toyota will produce only 8,000 units.

Toyota has released a teaser photo of the restyled 2016 Avalon, which gets a restyled front fascia, which looks more aggressive than the current model. It will feature LED daytime running lights, restyled fog lights and an updated lower grille. We can also expect some minor changes to the interior. We’ll have all the details on February 12.
