Tesla is finally going to give the world a look at the much anticipated Model 3 sedan tonight. Production is expected to kick off by the end of 2017, but the version of the sedan that we see tonight may differ from what rolls off the line next year.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed on Twitter that we will get to see the Model 3 tonight, but some of the final elements of the sedan will not be there. “You will see the car very clearly, but some important elements will be added and some will evolve.”

This coincides with a report in February when Musk stated that not all of the details about the Model 3 will be revealed until Tesla gets closer to production time.

It’s also being reported that the Model 3 will have a driving range around 225 miles thanks to its 65 kWh battery pack. The cells in the battery pack will also have roughly 35 percent more energy than in the Model S and Model X.

Stay tuned for all the details tonight.
