Spy photographers recently caught up with what appears to be an new Acura crossover.

The vehicle in these spy photos appears to be sized between the current Acura RDX and MDX. The crossover is heavily camouflaged but it’s obvious that its sporting Acura’s new controversial (bottle opener) grille. It also has a steeply raked windshield. This could be Acura’s answer to vehicles like the BMW X6 and Infiniti FX. But what’s the point with gas prices the way they are?

Acura execs recently revealed that Acura is going to have a new model join its lineup in 2010. Rumors at the time were that it was possibly going to be a new coupe…let’s hope that’s still true…we don’t need more crossovers. Either way expect to see this new Acura crossover unveiled sometime next year.
