Scion has yet to release any plans for a convertible version of the FR-S but Jeremy Lookofsky of Cartel Customs has created his own open-top version. The Targa Top FR-S features a black targa top and custom color – Azzuro California Blue. The vehicle has also been lowered and rides on custom 19-inch wheels. A GReddy street turbo kit has been bolted onto the engine and inside there’s also an upgraded Pioneer audio system.

Scion has already revealed the two-tone tC Release Series 9.0 model that will debut at the show and here’s another take on the tC thanks to Mike Vu of MV DESIGNZ. Mike Vu translated the look and sound of thrash metal band Slayer into the Scion tC. The “Scion x Slayer Mobile Amp tC” features with a custom paint job with airbrushed logos and skulls, suicide doors and Billet Slayer sword blade wheels with spike-style center caps. The interior gets a custom Pioneer audio system with towers of speakers, a custom mixer and a 32-inch monitor for media playback.

The xB is one of the oldest vehicles in the Scion lineup, but Scott Kanemura of KMA Productions has made it look even more retro with the Scion x Riley Hawk Skate Tour xB. It’s inspired by skateboarder Riley Hawk and features a 1970s style paint job with a “fish bowl” side window that recalls the vans of the 70s. It also has a wood-grain décor, a mini fridge, shag carpet, an 8-track player, a Big Pioneer Sound System and the ability to play guitar through the audio system using an iPad mini as mixer.

“The Scion xB really does look like something straight from 1975,” Riley Hawk said. “From shag carpet to the retro paint job, it’s the perfect mix between modern and vintage.”
