Aston Martin has confirmed that the Cygnet minicar has been discontinued.
The Aston Martin Cygnet always looked a little odd in Aston Martin’s lineup. Based on the Toyota iQ, the Cygnet was supposed to be the perfect city car for Aston Martin fans. Of course it never really made sense and now Aston Martin has confirmed that it is gone, forever.
The Cygnet minicar arrived just over two years ago with pricing starting at £30,995 in Europe. Although it featured an Aston Martin grille and a more upscale interior, it was hard to hide that it was still a Toyota and didn’t have an ounce of “performance” under the hood.
