Polestar has been releasing teasers aka puzzle pieces of its new model leading up to its debut this week. Now Polestar has released the last piece of the puzzle, which reveals the rear of the Polestar 1, which is going to debut tomorrow.
As expected the Polestar 1 will be an electric coupe and even though Polestar has broken off from the Volvo brand, the Polestar One still has lots of inspiration from Volvo’s current design language. The Polestar 1 also takes some elements from the Volvo Concept Coupe that debuted a few years ago.
Polestar hasn’t given away too many details, but it’s rumored that it will be powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain that could generate up to 600 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid powertrain would be borrowed from the Volvo XC90 T8.
The Polestar 1 is scheduled to debut tomorrow in Shanghai.
