Nissan has confirmed that the Rogue and Murano crossovers will be offered with the same hybrid powertrain as the Pathfinder Hybrid.
This fall Nissan is introducing the new 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid that is powered by a new supercharged 2.5L four-cylinder engine that is mated to a 15 kW electric motor and lithium-ion battery. That same hybrid powertrain will soon be offered in the Rogue and Murano crossovers.
This week Nissan confirmed the plans during a presentation at Nissan’s 360 event. Nissan hasn’t confirmed when the hybrid versions of the Rogue and Murano will arrive, but the new Rogue will be unveiled on September 10th.
