Jeep has already confirmed that the Jeep Grand Wagoneer is coming back, but we have yet to see any concepts, design sketches or even a sneak peek at the new flagship SUV. While we still don’t have any previews of what the new Grand Wagoneer will look like, Jeep has already given a hint at where it will fit in Jeep’s lineup and what it which models it wants to go head-to-head with.

Jeep wants to push the Grand Wagoneer into the premium SUV segment, which means that it will rival models, like the Range Rover and Porsche Cayenne. Jeep boss Mike Manley recently gave a few more details at the Paris Motor Show, where he stated to Auto Express, “the Grand Wagoneer concept is moving forward. It’s an exciting nameplate to bring back, I think.”

Manley also stated that the pricing for the Grand Wagoneer could eventually be as high as $140k, “but we need to establish Grand Wagoneer in its own right first.”
