Mitsubishi released two official sketches of the automaker’s Concept RA last week. The concept is going to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show next month. Initially everyone has speculated that the concept is providing hints of what the next Eclipse is going to look like.
Well now according to insiders the concept could provide a hint of what the next Eclipse will be like. According to What Car the next Eclipse could also make its way to Europe. The concept is powered by a 2.2L turbodiesel that puts out 202 horsepower. The diesel also meets Europe and America’s stringent emissions regulations.
Since the engine does meet regulations on both sides of the Atlantic, insiders are suggesting that the model could make its way over to Europe.
Either way lets hope that Mitsubishi is finally trying to return the Eclipse to status it held in the early 90’s.
