BMW boss, Norbert Reithoffer recently spoke with What Car? after the announcement of a new £500 investment to produce the third generation Mini. Reithoffer stated that he “can imagine 10 Minis.”

The Mini brand could eventually spawn up to 10 models according to Reithoffer. But one model that we will not see is a production version of the Rocketman concept.

“The Rocketman was a concept and we have no plans to take it further, but features of it will appear on future Minis,” stated BMW Sales boss Ian Robertson.

Before the next-generation Mini is released, Mini is going to release the Mini coupe this fall, followed by a roadster version in 2012. Mini is also planning a coupe version of the Countryman crossover, which was previewed by the Paceman concept.
