Mercedes is going to release a convertible version of the upcoming S-Class coupe.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this month, Mercedes-Benz previewed the upcoming S-Class coupe in concept form. The new S-Class coupe is expected to debut early next year and now we’e just learned that Mercedes is also planning a convertible version.
Product development boss, Thomas Weber told Automotive News, that the convertible version will arrive about a year after the coupe. When the convertible S-Class arrives, it will be the first S-Class convertible since 1971.
