A new report claims that the Lexus SC is going to be revived for the 2017 model year. The SC badge was last used in 2010 on the four-seat hardtop convertible.
According to Automobile, Lexus is currently working on a production version of the LF-LC concept that will wear the badge. The third-generation Lexus SC will be based on the next-generation Lexus LS and up to three powertrains could be offered: the 467-hp 5.0L V8 from the RC F, a hybrid powertrain with around 500-hp and a twin turbo V8 that could generate a nice 600-hp.
