Lexus has confirmed plans to bring a new hybrid coupe concept to the Australian Motor Show that kicks off in Sydney on October 19. The new concept is a further developed version of the LF-LC concept that was unveiled earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show.
Lexus hasn’t released many other details about the new concept other than the teaser photo you see here and the fact that the concept is powered by a hybrid powertrain that packs more than 500 horsepower. All that power is sent to the concept’s four wheels.

“The Lexus concept is an absolutely stunning vehicle and is set to be one of the drawcards of the show,” Lexus Australia chief Tony Cramb said in a statement. “The concept will highlight Lexus’ design and engineering expertise–marrying design with function to deliver a glimpse into the future of supercars.”

The fact that Lexus is bringing another version of the LF-LC concept hopefully proves that Lexus is seriously considering a production version.
