Kia Rio Gets a Mild Facelift for Paris

Kia has unveiled the updated Rio, which is going to debut next month at the Paris Motor Show.

Kia has unveiled the updated Rio, which is going to debut next month at the Paris Motor Show.
From the front the updated Rio gets a new bumper, a slightly updated grille and new fog lights. The 2015 Rio also gets new alloy wheel designs and two new color choices join the option list: Digital Yellow and Urban Blue.

Inside there are new chrome accents and a redesigned center stack houses a a new DAB digital radio and Kia’s next-gen AVN (audio-video navigation) system with a 7-inch display screen.

Under the hood buyers in Europe can choose between four engine options with power ranging from 74-hp to 108-hp. The engines can be mated to either a five- or six-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission.

The updated Rio is expected to go on sale in Europe early next year, which means that the U.S. will likely get these updates for the 2016 model year.
