Yesterday Nissan released the updates for its 2015 model lineup, but one car was missing from the list – the Nissan Cube. Sales of the boxy Cube have been a disappointment, so does that mean that Nissan is finally giving it the axe?

Nissan hasn’t made an official announcement, but Motor Trend did reach out to Nissan about the status of the Cube. Unfortunately the only response they received was, “all I can confirm for now is that it’s currently available through model year 2014.”

The Cube was originally released back in 2009 and it had its best year in 2010 when Nissan sold 22,968 units in the U.S. Sadly last year Nissan only managed to sell 5,461 units.
