Ford has unveiled a hotter version of the Fiesta ST, the Fiesta ST200, which is debuting this week at the Geneva Motor Show. The overboost function lifts the horsepower rating for up to 15 seconds, while the 1.6L engine generates 214 lb-ft. of torque and up to 236 lb-ft. with overboost. The 1.6L is mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a new 4.06 final drive ratio – compared to 3.82 in the Fiesta ST. The Fiesta ST200 reaches 62 mph in 6.7 seconds, which is just a bit faster than the Fiesta ST at 6.9 seconds. Its top speed is 143 mph.
