Fisker Pushes Atlantic Production Back to Late 2014

Fisker Automotive recently told its investors that production of the Fisker Atlantic hybrid has been pushed back to late 2014 or early 2015.

Fisker Automotive recently told its investors that production of the Fisker Atlantic hybrid has been pushed back to late 2014 or early 2015. Right now the Atlantic is scheduled to enter pre-production sometime in 2014.

When the Atlantic arrives it will be Fisker Atlantic arrives, it will be smaller and cheaper than the current Fisker Karma with a price tag around $55,000. It will also borrow its four-cylinder engine from BMW and will be built at a former GM plant in Wilmington, Delaware.

Last month Fisker announced that it received a new round of funding to build the new Atlantic.
