Yup you read that right, another Fast and the Furious movie is in the works. NBC Universal has announced that the sixth movie in the series is slated to be released in May 2013. The actual date is May 24, 2013.
It’s not surprising that the studio is releasing a sixth installment, since the fifth movie Fast Five was a big success this past April by posting the biggest opening weekend in the studio’s history. Fast Five is expected to pass $600 million at the worldwide box office.The sixth movie, which has yet to have an official name, is being written by Chris Morgan, who also wrote the last three films.
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are expected to make a return for the sixth installment, which according to the studio will be “their most dangerous adventure yet.”
