It’s already been reported that Chrysler is possibly going to ditch the Sebring name for its refreshed midsize sedan that is expected to launch later this year. According to dealers and those that are familiar with Chyrsler’s product plans, the Nassau name is going to used for the new sedan.

The Nassau name was used on a concept car at the Detroit Auto Show in 2007, but the new sedan is not expected to look like the concept.

The 2011 Nassau and its Dodge Avenger counterpart are expected to get all-new interiors and new styling on the outside. Buyers will have the choice between a 2.4L four-cyl and Chrysler’s new Pentastar V6 engine.
