Callaway is known for creating unique Corvettes and with shooting brake models becoming more popular, well at least as concept models, it’s no surprise that Callaway’s latest project is a shooting brake version of the latest Corvette Stingray. Dubbed the AeroWagon, the Callaway concept takes the 2014 Corvette Stingray coupe and adds a wagon like rear end.
Callaway is already taking orders for the AeroWagon and if they receive enough of them, they will actually produce it, with it only adding $15,000 to the price of the Corvette Stingray coupe. Even though the rear hatch adds more weight to the coupe, it’s made of carbon fiber, using Callaway’s Resin Transfer Molding process to keep things light.

Callaway also says that the AeroWagon is capable of reaching speeds over 200 mph, but did not provide any details of what wil power the custom Corvette. The Corvette Stingray’s 450-hp 6.2L V8 is unlikely to be able to reach that speed, but other future Corvette models will be able to.
